Tunas Sawa Erma Group in Papua held a training activity to improve the quality of human resources, refine technical skills and management quality of its oil palm plantation by organizing a competency training of SKKNI (Competency Standard National Working Indonesia) for plantation officials.
The training, which was initiated by the Corporate HRD Team, was held on October 18th-28th 2017 for plantation foremen. The professional training for plantation assistants (supervisors) was also held on October 29th-November 18th 2017. Meanwhile the training for Head Assistants, Managers, and General Managers will be held alternately until the beginning of February 2018.
For the training, Tunas Sawa Erma Group cooperates with one of well-known agricultural institutes in Yogyakarta, as speakers at the training.
The training was held in order to improve the competence of the plantation official cadres in Tunas Sawa Erma Group so they would be more skillful while performing their duties. It is hoped that there will be continous improvement in the plantation environment in accordance with the progress of knowledge and technology in the world’s oil palm plantations.
