BOVEN DIGOEL – PT Tunas Sawa Erma (PT TSE) ran a rapport-building activity at Jair District’s Kukurantap (Sub)village on Saturday (4/29), as part of its continuous efforts to improve communication and strengthen ties with nearby communities.
The warm, simple gathering involved a light discussion where TSE reps collected aspirations on infrastructure and social environment development.
As a major palm oil firm that devotes attention to the well-being of its neighbors and natural surroundings, TSE Group strives to focus on things that support the residents down the road, be it big or small.
Taking place at clan chief Ignasius Mikan’s home, the meeting lets staff and locals exchange minds and ideas to create a better community life. It is PT TSE’s hope to maintain a good and sustainable relationship with the Kukurantaps through this event.
Attending was GA Manager Deny Wasa, who called the gathering an endeavor to build relations and trust with the people and clan chiefs.
Meanwhile, Mikan said, “It’s a great activity, and I highly appreciate their [TSE] visit.”
The genial atmosphere drew to a close with a luncheon provided by TSE officers and local mothers in a short cooking demo session. The latter is also a segment of this monthly communication activity, geared towards honing cooking skills.
PT Tunas Sawa Erma is a part of Tunas Sawa Erma (TSE) Group, which engages in palm oil plantation business in Papua. PT TSE is committed to practicing sustainable palm oil governance and keeps innovating in an effort to prioritize fulfilling its environmental and social responsibility. (Fionny/TSE)
