Tunas Sawa Erma Group is a legal company in Indonesia engaging in the palm oil plantation and processing with headquarters in Papua. Tunas Sawa Erma Group has started a palm oil business in Papua since 1995 at the request of the local government. The condition of the infrastructure was still minimal at that time, but Tunas Sawa Erma Group can thrive and be the first to contribute in the development of the Trans-Papua.
In accordance with the vision and mission to become a global company, The company has a commitment to “No Deforestation, No Peat, No Exploitation” policy which has been running and is clearly stated on the company’s official website. In addition, our concession area is not located in peatland. Besides, PT. Tunas Sawa Erma also creates a system and working environment that support the development of human resources through selection and training programs as well as sustainable development. The company already has a sustainability team.
We also appreciate the contribution from our employees who continue to grow together with the company. For their dedications, Tunas Sawa Erma Group has promoted 70% of all employees to be permanent employees. The advancement of women is also part of our concern. There are 4 oil palm processing plants that have been operating; the one belongs to PT Tunas Sawa Erma Block A, the one belongs to PT Tunas Sawa Erma Block B, the one belongs to PT Berkat Cipta Abadi, and the one owned by PT Dongin Prabhawa.
All of processed palm oil in every plant in the company comes from company-owned plantation and does not come from outside suppliers.
